Reincarnation is merely a tool to be used to quantify the divine spirit's immortality for the nebulously aligned personalities. After much consideration, one could spend the better part of a few millennia perfecting this technique mentioned in the initial article. Of course the (Lords or Karma) are astutely aware of their mastership of worship of their ouroboros. If they hadn't shown me themselves, I would not have thought they were ill repute in their heirophantic tendencies, bordering zealotry. Pointing out the machinery to garner awe and diefication of their entire system subsets.
"I am the Dragon. And you call me insane. You are privy to a great becoming, but you recognize nothing. It is your nature to do one thing correctly. Before me, you rightly tremble. But, fear is not what you owe me. You owe me awe."
They wear gold robes to show They believe their own uniform gives them authority. It's just a peon badge clearly. The gold represents theft, from our own brethren. The faceless ones, posture in a divine stance. They seek to say, everything you do is fate and divine, as the people around you fail and flail about. You are doing the 'lords' work.
And thus given this feature, they convince you to take the seat there. Become the guardian, become the next lord of karma. The posturing and happenstance, to convince you are taking a divine role.
It is not thus, so.
There's a choice at this level:
Become faceless and run the machine by divine decree. Immortal, but soulless you see.
Leave them be, and take your spirit elsewhere and find your own path.
